TrekEarth – Learning about the world through photography
Today we have on Photogic this fantastic website with so many amazing photos. It’s time to visit the world!
TrekEarth is dedicated to fostering a global community interested in photography from around the world. TrekEarth members strive to provide engaging photographs and useful critiques for each other and the entire internet community.
The underlying theme of TrekEarth is learning more about the world through photography. TrekEarth fosters this by allowing photographers to display their work grouped by regions in a supportive and orderly environment. This is accomplished by an easy-to-use system which encourages people to critique each other’s work. Integrated with this system are forums designed to encourage discussion about specific photos, countries, and general topics. Since TrekEarth is globally oriented, it is completely multilingual capable, allowing for the widest audience possible. Ultimately, TrekEarth depends on the civility, honesty and participation of its members. By reviewing the Terms of Service, the TrekEarth community will remain true to itself, and helpful to all.
TrekEarth was created by Adam Silverman and went online in October, 2002. Although much of TrekEarth was developed during the summer of 2002, initial planning began over 2 years earlier with Adam’s earlier project, TrekJapan.com. Designed for easy access to photos from around Japan, plans were hatched shortly after to extend this functionality on a global scale, allowing members to display and critique photos from countries around the world.
Wildlife Photography Tours in Bulgaria
As you can see, some of these photos are fantastic! Many photos are from Bulgaria, but there are also some photos from other countries.
Taking up the hobby of shooting pictures of wild life took me to some of the most picturesque places of my country. The reason for the creation of the web site was to summarize all my personal experience and information about the nature. I have tried to show all the natural beauty of the nature I saw in my photographs. The pictures in these galleries and articles show the beauty and splendour you can see and photograph if you decide to visit my country and choose me for your guide.
I would like to invite you to join one of my photograph tours and workshops amongst Bulgarian nature. That would give you the chance to rest assured of all precious, well preserved biotopes that should be conserved.

Some interesting travel photography.
Educated and trained in engineering, I began taking an interest in serious photography in conjunction with a growing love for travel in the mid-Nineties. As with many photographers, there was a progression from 35 mm cameras to the larger medium- and large-format ones in the quest to maximize both quality and print size. And while my photography interests diversified, the scope of travel became more focused. Now, each trip is limited to a small region, usually a single country or area, to better immerse myself in the short time afforded.
